Ariel Pang was born on March 12, 1977 in Taipei, TaiwanOne year after graduating from high school, she went abroad to the United States, attended the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, and graduated in the spring of 2000. After 4 years of study in the States, Ariel decided to return to Taiwan. She devoted herself full-time to her passion of promoting art for kids. Ariel is a talented artist; her creativity is incredibly varied.She is proficient at traditional illustration, computer graphics, web design and handcrafts. Ariel is a full member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Her first children's book was seleted for the Bologna Children's Book Fair, fiction section in 2001. Since she came back from the U.S, Ariel has already published 2 children's books and one children's activity text book from 2000~2001. Ariel enjoys creating bright, cheerful and whimsical illustrations...with a little humor... whenever possible.Her illustrations are like Ariel herself, always bringing a smile to people's faces and hearts. Ariel grew up with a great family and she had a wonderful childhood. Illustrating for children's book brings Ariel a lot of pleasure and satisfaction.
